Menopause is a complex life transition that influences physiology, emotions, energy, identity, and relationships. Hormonal fluctuations, particularly the decline in estrogen and progesterone levels, can play a role in mental health struggles that are associated with perimenopause. Around the world, women are exploring new frameworks for navigating this stage with greater clarity and support, as many experience limited relief from current treatments.
Scientific interest in approaches involving expanded states of consciousness has increased significantly, including explorations into how these transformative modalities may influence facets of wellbeing that often impact women during this stage of life. In fact, some of these approaches have even been shown to reduce menopause-related inflammation that can increase risks for autoimmune and cardiovascular conditions [1].
This webinar brings together researchers, facilitators, and women with lived experience to explore what we currently know, what remains uncertain, and how holistic practices can support this stage of life.
